Sort Machine Operator

Job Description: 

• Operate vison-based automated sort equipment - package & label product for customers

• Setup, operate, and maintain multiple automated vision / laser based sort machines
• Create labels and label product with correct part # labels
• Package parts in correct containers
• Properly document, communicate, and dispose of any non-conforming parts
• Clean & maintain sort equipment and machine area 

• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Standing for extended periods of time – 8+ hours
• Able to work in loud environment – PPE required – safety glasses & hearing protection
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs. repeatedly
• Able to work well in a team environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver’s license

•  Experience with vision-based automated sort machines – LinearGS, Attica, Mectron is a plus, but not required
• Previous experience in packaging activities
