Machine Header Operator

Job Title:  Machine Header Operator
 
Job Description:  Responsible for setup and operation of heading machinery.
 
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Setup and production of cold formed fasteners
• Monitoring and measurement of fasteners

• 2 – 5 years experience in cold forming fasteners
• Must have knowledge of setup and be able to problem solve in an effective manner
• Must have experience with measurement equipment, i.e. Micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, etc.
• Must have knowledge grain flow to determine the quality of the fastener
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements
• Operate fork truck to move stock
