Dloc Operator

Job Description: 

• Scan and prepare all products for shipment to the customer.

• Examine all cartons and pallets in the correct container per the customer requirement.
• Verify parts are packaged in the correct container per the customer requirement.
• Store in the correct location in the shipping racks and the dloc process.
• Understand proper placement of all destination, master, and mixed load labels.
• Make sure cartons are stacked neatly and stretch wrapped securely.
• Verify certified label requirements as necessary.
• Consult with the supervisor for any questions in regards to customer requirements.
• Keep material supply area clean and organized and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Keep Dloc area clean and maintain safe work area.

• Strong knowledge in Distribution
• Safely and efficiently drive turret and fork trucks
• Self-manage work load
• Use scan gun and interface with the AS400 computer
• Manage people
